⚠The PNB mailbox has used 133% of what Google lets it send in 24 hours (663 of 500 people written to). Put every file of a case in one mail and copy fewer people — or Google stops it.
The co-pilot on a phone
What the phone does
- The challan, whole: the co-pilot fills it; you read the differences and the papers, type the captcha (Go to the captcha takes you there) and pay.
- The paid challan: on a computer the co-pilot puts the downloaded challan on the case by itself. On a phone, if the case does not show it a minute after you pay, open the case and upload the PDF there (the phone keeps it in Downloads / Files).
- The e-filing’s Property and Payment pages, and View & Submit to SRO.
- Not on a phone: the Mortgagee and Mortgagor pages. They need the bank’s authorised person’s thumb on the Secugen scanner, which works only on the office computer. Do them there first; open the same draft on the phone afterwards (the co-pilot types its token under Modify Draft Token) and it goes on from the Property page.
- One session per login. The e-filing portal keeps one session for a login: signing in on the phone logs the office computer out, and the other way round. Finish on one before you sign in on the other.
Android — Firefox
- Install Firefox from the Play Store. (Chrome on a phone cannot run the co-pilot.)
- Save the co-pilot’s file on the phone — its name ends in .xpi; Abhijit shares it (WhatsApp, mail or Drive).
- In Firefox: ⋮ → Settings → About Firefox, and tap the Firefox logo 5 times (it says the debug menu is on).
- Back in Settings: Install extension from file → pick the .xpi → Add. Allow what it asks: the three sites (GRAS, the e-filing portal and this app) and the data it sends to this app.
- In Firefox, open this app, sign in, and press Set up the co-pilot in this browser below.
- Open a case → Make the challan: GRAS opens and the co-pilot fills it.
iPhone — Safari
- Install TestFlight from the App Store, and open the invitation Abhijit sends → install NOI co-pilot.
- Settings → Apps → Safari → Extensions → NOI co-pilot: turn it on, and allow it on gras.mahakosh.gov.in, efilingigr.maharashtra.gov.in and this app.
- In Safari, open this app, sign in, and press Set up the co-pilot in this browser below.
- Open a case → Make the challan: GRAS opens and the co-pilot fills it.
Set up this browser
On a phone (or any browser with the co-pilot): one tap puts the URL and the token into the co-pilot.

On the phone
- The co-pilot is a sheet at the bottom of the screen. Tap its title to fold it to one line, and again to open it. It stays the same size when you pinch to zoom the portal.
- Under its title, one line says what it is doing and how the fill ended, and it stays there when the sheet is folded. Under it: Go to the captcha — never while a red STOP stands or the papers do not agree (read the red box first; the captcha is still on the page for you).
- The differences between the papers are in the sheet, a card each; a note also sits beside each box on the page.
- PAPERS: tap one — it fills the screen: the words to copy on top, the picture under them. Two fingers on the picture zoom it; × closes it.
- When the keyboard opens for a box of the portal, the sheet folds out of its way and comes back after.
